Carterton Trampoline Park and Soft Play – Review

Carterton Trampoline Park and Soft Play – Review

Earlier this week, we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of a Brand New Trampoline Park and Soft Play at Carterton Leisure Centre. The kids especially Faryl love to bounce so often ask to go to trampoline parks in the winter when he can’t get out on the trampoline in the garden.

The Trampoline Park and Soft Play are part of an ongoing £8.4 million pound redevelopment of Carterton Leisure Centre.

Safety first when we arrived we completed a disclaimer and watched a safety video in the briefing room. The video was not too long and to the point, once the kids had watched it, the sports assistant recapped the main rules. All jumpers need to have special socks, once these were on we were ready to try it out.

The park has 20 individual beds one jumper at a time can use. The are also 3 different interactive reaction areas. We had great fun challenging each other on these. The firm favorite for Aliza, 6 was the air bed, I lost count of how many times she jumped onto it. There is a foam pit with a spinning beam and another fixed beam. Jolie, 10 and Faryl, 8 loved matching each other to a few duels.

Soft Play

The soft play area is a really good size but not to big to lose them. It is set in a garden theme so lots of flowers, trees and colours of the rainbow. The ball pit is an apple orchard, with the red balls as the apples. The junior slide was pretty quick, yes I did test it out! The soft play has 2 clear area one for under 4s and one for slightly older children upto 8 years old. This is a great idea and means that your toddler should not get knocked over by over excited older children.

Other facilities

The park has a well stocked cafe, offering snacks, meals and drinks. Every parent loves to chill with a cuppa whilst the kids play. Also upstairs there are 4 party rooms, great for parents that want a stess-free party for their little one. I spotted a mobility lift, so great to see that the park is accessable to all. The Trampoline Park and Soft Play officially open on 21st December 2019, just in time for the school holidays.

My Verdict

The centre is lovely and shiny, the staff were very welcoming and surprisingly it was warm inside. There is definitely enough to entertain the kids for an hour.

Disclaimer – We were offered free family entry to the trampoline park and soft play in return of an honest review. All words and pictures are my own.
